Met onze voeten in het water (op onze nieuwe bouw). Ik zit liever met men voeten in een ander soort water ... 💧😅

Onze 1e tegenvaller op onze ganse bouw. “Het kan erger”, denken we dan. Bon, onze bouw loopt op zen einde.

De komende dagen sanitair afwerken, inbouwkasten voorzien, ons waterprobleem oplossen & nadien verhuizen.

Komt goed. We zien elkaar terug in februari. Én dan trekken we er ook voor de eerste keer normaal (heeeel even) op uit. Dus ik denk dat februari leuk wordt, tot dan! 💋

Ps: dit is nog een foto van vorige zomer in #Ibiza. Gosh I miss Ibiza. Dat staat in september op de planning

🚌 4weken low budget rondreizen doorheen #Kroatie met onze self converted mini van, dat betekent :

⛅️ Heerlijk wakker worden bij het opkomen van de zon op plekken waar je normaal niet overnachten kan
💦 Oneindig veel keer in blauw water springen
🍹 Af en toe een cocktailtje of een 🍷 met een waanzinnig view
🥖 Ontbijten met stokbrood...
🏝 ... op verlaten stranden waar we het liefst zo lang mogelijk bleven
🏛 Rond te wandelen in steden die nog sliepen (ah ja want wij waren al wakker)
🌅 En de avond te eindigen met keer op keer een nieuwe prachtige zonsondergang

2021 is gonna be GOOOOD 🙌🏼
✈️ Onze 1e reizen liggen vast. Zakynthos, South Afrika, Italy & France, here we come. Hopelijk er terug elke maand op uit!

👚 We brengen een eigen travel shirt collectie op de markt waar we een goed doel mee steunen & ons steentje willen bijdragen tot de natuur 🌍 You gonna love it!

👫🏼 En we komen meer met ons snoetje online, vanaf onze verhuis zelfs elke dag 🙃

We wanted to chase the sunset & spend the evening with a view but who already saw our instastory knows what happened instead 😂

It started good with a lot of 🌤 but once we were going uphill it started to get colder & rainy. When we reached the other side of the island it got even worse. No views, pouring rain & the 2 of us undercooled 😆 We had to cover us up with everything we had in order to get home.

We didn't saw any view, neither a sunset but we do had a good laugh and that’s the most important thing of all 🥰🙏🏼

Let me give you some tips :
1️⃣ It is not a new destination. We have been here already in October 2017
2️⃣ It is in Europe & it’s actually not in Europe...
3️⃣ It belongs to a group of islands where they have 365days good weather & lot’s of European have a holiday home 🌤
4️⃣ They speak Spanish (so Maite can practice again 😁)
5️⃣ It is famous for watching stars, especially around the area of the big volcano on the island

Can you guess where we are going to? 🗺

By the way, we booked this last minute yesterday evening at 22h & scored a big deal 💰 We have an easy trick we already used a few times to save money but telling you about it tomorrow! #Traveltip

Can someone pinch us please? 😍 HOW DOES IT FEEL TO TRAVEL NOW? We do understand people are anxious about traveling. But we feel totally safe here in #Craotia 🇭🇷 It is just a small effort to respect the rules & safety measures.

That’s why we wanna share our top 5 tips to travel safe these days👇🏼
1️⃣ Travel by car 🚗 Although we believe traveling by ✈️ should be safe too, we preferred to travel within our bubble 😁
2️⃣ How about sleeping in the car? We self converted our car into a mini van for less than 50€. We eat, sleep & shower in the car. There is no safer place to be
3️⃣ Avoid crowdy places, easy as that
4️⃣ Respect the safety measures & wear a mask whenever it’s necessary
5️⃣ And most of all : enjoy! The people of Croatia do everything they can to keep you, and there self's, safe 🙏🏼
